The newly renovated Olive and Lavender cottages both have three bedrooms and two bathrooms with updated modern furnishings plus woodburning stoves for cold winter nights. Each cottage has an en-suite main bedroom. In addition you can prepare healthy meals in the modern kitchens with freshly sourced ingredients from our own organic vegetable garden. The luxurious master suites have views across the Franschhoek Valley including the outdoor entertainment area, vineyard and 11-metre rim flow pool. Pool loungers on the wooden deck allow for relaxing sunbathing all day long.

our favourites

There are lots of award winning restaurants to choose from in Franschhoek. These are some of our personal favourites.

For smarter dining options there is Foliage, Ruebens, Le Coin Francais or Le Lude.

Every day eat out options, French Connection, The Grill Room, Hussars Grill and Allora.

The picnic at Boschendal is also fun for a lunch time meal in a relaxed setting under the trees. Also our favourite brunch choice is Cafe Bon Bon.

For those who like cars, Richard recommends a visit to the Franschhoek Motor Museum which has a stunning collection of motor cars, vintage, classic, formula 1 and modern supercars.

The museum also has a coffee shop and offers tours, this can be combined with a wine tasting at the La Ormarins farm.
